Refund & Returns Policy
This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made through our website www.hukums.com. At Hukums, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer refunds, replacements, or repairs under the conditions described below.
1. When refunds or replacements apply
- Wrong item sent:
- If the product received differs from the product page or listing, we will provide a full replacement or refund.
- Please report within 7 days of delivery with supporting photos or video.
- Damaged on arrival:
- If the product is damaged during transit, we will replace or refund after verification.
- Report within 7 days with clear photos/videos of the damage and packaging.
- Defective or incomplete product:
- If the product is defective or missing parts, we will offer replacement, spare parts, repair, or refund as applicable.
- Report within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence.
2. Evidence required
For faster processing, please provide clear photos or a short unboxing video showing the issue. Visual evidence helps us verify and resolve claims quickly. If you cannot provide video, good-quality photos are acceptable.
3. Order cancellation
- Before dispatch: Full refund for cancellations requested before dispatch. For heavy items (>10 kg), cancel within 24 hours of order for full refund.
- After dispatch: Cancellation after dispatch may incur courier charges if the shipment is in transit. If the assured delivery date is missed by us, a full refund will be issued.
4. Refund process & timelines
- Prepaid orders: Refunds are credited to the original payment method (card/UPI/wallet) within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.
- EMI transactions: Bank interest already charged is generally non-refundable. Refund of principal amount is processed; interest reversals depend on the bank.
Cash on Delivery (COD): COD refunds are processed via NEFT/Bank Transfer. Provide the following details to receive COD refunds:
- Account Holder’s Name
- Bank Name
- Account Number
- IFSC Code
COD refunds typically take 7–10 working days after we receive bank details.
5. Return shipping & condition
- If return is due to our error (wrong/defective/damaged), we will cover the return shipping cost.
- For customer-initiated returns (change of mind), the customer bears return shipping charges (typically between ₹100–₹400, depending on location) unless otherwise agreed.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all accessories and documentation.
6. Non-returnable items
- Items explicitly marked as non-returnable on the product page (for hygiene or safety reasons).
- Products damaged by misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs are not eligible for refunds.
7. Replacement timeline
Replacement orders are processed within 2–5 business days after return pickup or verification of issue.
8. Dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with our response, reply to the support email and we will escalate the issue to our grievance team. We aim to resolve disputes fairly and in compliance with Indian consumer protection laws.
